Wahttehhog XBL Division

The purpose of the Wahttehhog XBL Division is to move the clan into the Xbox Live community. I'm hoping to use it to film on Xbox Live. I'll get some regular members to come in and help with filming. I would film small machinimas, nothing to do with the Sans-culottes series. Also, it is for publicity. More publicity equals more viewers.

I would use something Clay found on our computer called Windows Movie Maker for editing. This was free on our computer and that's why I would use it. Clay made a video and I am making one as well. These are just tests so don't expect much. Sign on to Skype and I will send it to you when I am finished. You guys can see how it is. However, it saves in Windows Media format. I may need help converting it if it is necessary.

The PSP

Is the biggest POS you'll ever encounter in all your travels. It seems to have an utter inability to run applications. No matter how many third party (because Sony doesn't make any) conversion tools I use, it just refuses to work. Even the update I downloaded off Sony's site doesn't feel like operating. At this point I'm going to give their Techies a call, and if they're not any help, this brick is going on Ebay. I can see it whimpering at me, it knows it's fate. "Ryan, I'm scared", it says. "Will I dream?" It inquires. Listen you little sh1t, maybe you should think about running what I tell you to run, and fast. Unless you want to get sold to the highest bidder.

Not Good News.

I have just discovered that the guy who runs the Annual Rockets On Prisoner Awards has died. I don't know whether you care or not, but me and many others find it sad when an important member of the Halo community passes away. It is on many websites including High Impact Halo, HBO, and his own website (now run by his girlfriend). There is no news on whether the ROP awards will still be held or not. Many members of the ever-growing Halo community will mourn his passing (I'm not that attached to the Halo community, though). :(

A New Series?

The filming we did on Saturday made me think creatively. I've been thinking about names for characters, and Pete came up with a title. I've also thought of some good action sequences. However, two people per team, that's hard to work with. I was thinking action series or mini-series. We could work in other characters. Of course, it would be smaller than the main Wahttehhog series, Sans-culottes (Sorry Ryan, but this is how it's spelt). I believe we would be the first to run multiple series simultaneously. I may be wrong, but it's cool to think about. Hopefully, this will jumpstart my creative mind for composing.

I'm actually in the process of writing my own music. Do you know if Dave takes music theory, Ryan? Speaking of composing, we should hold a prelim practice for the band. We could see how it works out. If we don't think it will work, then we don't do it.

One more thing, RE4 will be beaten on Professional mode soon. I have just beaten Krauser, and the game gets easier from here. Yeah, RE4.

News of Things Good and Halo-y

Halo-y is now a new adjective, meaning of or like Halo.

The prediction of Halo 3 ready at PS3 release has changed. Bill Gates has said that it will come out when Bungie is ready. IGN has predicted a release with the movie. Now, I am optimistic about this because Bungie can take their time and create an amazing game (Three years for Halo 2). However, waiting for both the movie and the game is killing me. Hopefully, the speculation of a new book is true. That would help me get through hard times.

The movie is another story. They do not have a director yet, however they have Alex Garland as the script writer. As for plot, nothing so far or nothing heard. I am feeling good about the movie. Peter Jackson's amazing adaptation of King Kong makes me believe.

The Big Bowl

The Super Bowl is just around the corner. The Seattle Seahawks will be taking on the big-bad Pittsburgh Steelers. I want the Seahawks to win. I was just reading Frankie's Weekly Update and I read about how most of the people at Bungie are rooting for the Seahawks (Bungie Studios is located in Washington, so is Microsoft). Then it dawned on me, what better way is there to announce a big event, movie, or even a video game then the Super Bowl? There is no better way. This year it will cost one million dollars for ten seconds worth of commercials! Ten seconds! The reason why? A lot of people watch the Super Bowl, including me. So, I wouldn't be too surprised to see the Halo 3 announcement trailer. I hope so.

In other news, I hear the PS3 won't be coming out this spring. In fact, I heard that Sony is struggling to get their new console out by holiday season! That's very disappointing.

I'll add more to this post later; I just don't feel like it now. My status

Freaked Out.

All right, I'm sorry Ryan, but this post exists solely to make sure I don't have to look at that "picture" when I come on the blog. It's scaring the crap out of me. Well... since I do have a post, I might as well add other stuff. Matt, I have told Ryan but would like to share that I am available most anytime to do voice acting. Except Saturday and afterschool on Mondays and Fridays until 3:30, I'm free. Generally, Make It Hurt practice is in the day, and I may be available at night like last time. Just give a call first. Actually, Monday and Friday may change; I will let you know.

On the video game front, no news on MGS4 unfortunately. Not much PS3 news in general. I've almost beaten Metroid Prime 2. Great game.

There was something else; if I remember I'll tell you.
