The 100th Post

This is the 100th post. This post was created on November 26, 2005. The first post on The Wahttehhog's blogspace was created on May 27, 2005.

To honor this day, I'm going to tell ya'll the story behind The Wahttehhog:

"It's April 16, 2005, and I'm sitting in front of my editing machine, my PowerBook, my life in a piece of titanium. And it's around 3:00 PM. And I had just finished rendering and exporting today's complete Wahttehhog Episode 1: "Insert Quarter to Purchase Health". The finished video first sat on my desktop at exactly 2:48 PM. It wasn't named yet, and it's current codename was 'Dumbass.mov'.

"I'm sitting there, trying to name this thing, that weighed in at exactly 5:00 min. Obviously, I wasn't about to upload a file to HBO called 'Dumbass.mov'. So I'm thinking and thinking and after about 2 hours, I jumped up, and screamed "WTF Mate!!1". Naturally, my parents got kinda pissed and screamed back "STFU".

"So I sat back down, on this little rocking stool that I had been sitting on for the last 2 months editing this Episode, and I suddenly realize that this world is full of stupid peop- No, I slowly double-click on the file, so as to high-lite the filename, and deleted 'Dumbass.mov'. I typed in 'What The Hell' because I was on edge about life at this point in relative time. And I sat there and started messing with 'What The Hell', and it eventually changed into 'Waht Teh Hell'.

"I thought that that was kinda cool, as cool as if a n00b created that. So I relaxed and watched the video again, all 5 min. of it, and I realize that the greatest scene in the entire episode was the scene where the kill, um, the *cough* black dude *cough* and then they take off in the hog. Wait a minute, I said to moi. That's kinda like for 1337xX0r guys like us, so I changed the name again to 'Waht teh Hog'.

"That was the original name, which over time, has become 'The Wahttehhog'.

And here we exist."

Today, we celebrate Reyals Bemus, and his contributions towards The Wahttehhog's existence. Hey guys, take the day off, will you?
