As a couple of you (those that were called) already know, I've got another LAN on today, Saturday. Jon, I'll call you, just needed to find your cell number. From 2:00 til 6:30. Laters til then. THIS HAS EXPIRED OUT; I JUST CAN'T ERASE IT. (Evil, menacing laugh)

LAN
We can have a LAN at our house today, Friday. It would be from around 12:30 through 6:30, but the time may change. Please comment on it if you come online. I'll call everyone anyway. If possible, try to bring 360's. I know they are precious equipment, and do not bring them if you feel unsafe carrying them. I don't blame you if you don't bring them; I wouldn't either. I need one more Xbox though and if we want to film, any filming equipment. A copy of Halo 2, any other games you guys may want to play, and more controllers are appreciated. Thanks, laters, and see ya.

Christmas Loot
1337 Present #1:
Yah so this Christmas treated me well enough. For The Wahttehhog, I received a LaCie 250GB d2 Triple-Interface fanless Firewire 800, 400, & USB 2.0 external drive. This thing is quite the beast. I tested the drive by transfering a 1.5 GB folder from my Dad's laptop internal to the LaCie and it took approximately 48 seconds on end. For the sake of interest, I also copied the same folder to the desktop (all on the internal drive) and the copy took about a minute to finish. (Think: The LaCie just pwned my Dad's computer.)
1337 Present #2:
My family also bought a Handycam DCR-HC32 Camcorder (I'll be using it mostly), which proves to be unbelievably capable and powerful. It includes a touchscreen display with 1080i(p) HD recording and supports 16:9 as well as 4:3 video dimension ratios. It's quite small too, and is totable everywhere. But the real awesomeness of the camera is it's IO interface and connections. It doesn't just support AV and DV in, but also has AV out as well as DV streaming directly into a computer through Firewire or USB. (Think: No more of us recording Xbox games (like Halo) to a VCR and then to DV and then to digital video and then to the editing station. Instead, think: Xbox streaming into Final Cut Pro.)
Yah and there was some other cool stuff that my family received for Christmas like a really, really nice digital camera. Man you can't touch this camera. It lays down the hurt on any other cameras in competition. I got some stuff like DVDs and books and computer tool sets, so the stash was bountiful.

The Wahttehhog Blog - Some Changes
As you can see in the top right corner of this blog, I have been modding the template images, layers, and code to add a little more pwnage to this blogspace.
Over the next few days, and perhaps weeks, I'll be modding lots and lots of files and code for The Wahttehhog blog.
If y'all have any suggestions or recommendations, please comment them. Also, if the blog is offline for short periods of time over the next week or so, it's because I will be re-writing some of the existing code to improve the stability and performance of the blog.
And here is the mapped image used above in the header.
Please express your thoughts.

Halo 3
These past few days, while I was playing Halo 2's campaign (just as good as Halo's campaign), I was thinking of the possibilities of Halo 3. Halo 3 is and would be my only reason to buy the Xbox 360, along with Splinter Cell: Double Agent (Splinter Cell 4 if you haven't heard the title).
If Bungie does it correctly, then the story of Halo 3 could and should be the strongest story of the Halo legacy. I don't know how familiar you guys are with the plot, but the Arbiter brought with him a great character and many plot twists. The turning of the Prophets, the Covenant Civil War, and the Flood reaching an area outside Halo on their own are strong points in the story. The Flood used In Amber Clad to reach High Charity, ON THIER OWN. Yeah, I'm excited too. Could the Flood have adaptive intelligence, could the Elites ally themselves with Earth, and do the Prophets know more about Halo than they are telling (just a random thought)? Also, the War on Earth at the end of Halo 2 that Bungie had better put in Halo 3 looks awmazing.
Of course the presentation would be awesome, because it is the 360. I mean, Ryan, you may have thought that COD2 was subpar in graphics (I didn't think that it was as bad as you said), but Bungie knows how to harness technology. Look at Halo 2.
At the risk of sounding repetitive, let's have a Christmas LAN. Seriously, I'm looking forward to one. I'm going to be missing out on the Band Disney Trip, so I need something to occupy me from my sadness.
One more thing, this Christmas CD is ANNOYING THE HECK OUT OF ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

iPod or 360?
I need to choose between an iPod or a Xbox 360 for Christmas. If I choose an iPod then I get it on Christmas day, but if I choose a 360 I have to wait for a few weeks. I would be able to get a 360 by Christmas if Microsoft didn't screw up the distribution. Well, anyways, which should I get, an iPod on Christmas or wait a few weeks for the 360?

KING KONG
If you have one ounce of life left see King Kong it is long and some of the parts in the begining are bouncing around constantley but through in through the action and drama are perfect.(my dad cried just like he did when he saw the first one apperantley when a thousand people die in a war you can be straight faced but when a gorrila dies it taires your heart in two.)

Spike TV's 2005 Video Game Awards
Yes, that fateful evening on Saturday, December 10, 2005, was graced by an award show that involved what many of us consider to be life (at least I do), VIDEO GAMES. While it isn't the first, it still is a video game award show. I want to share with you some of the categories (not all, can't remember them all). "Best Action Game" went to God of War, "Pontiac's Best Driving Game Award" went to Burnout Revenge (over Gran Turismo 4; I was pleasantly surprised), "Best Military Game" went to Call of Duty 2, and "Best Individual Sports Game" went to Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. And my favorite award, and most important of all, was "Game of the Year". Now what games could obtain such an honor. Maybe Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory or Battlefield 2. Sadly, these games didn't grace the nominees list. They were God of War, World of Warcraft, F.E.A.R, Call of Duty 2, and Resident Evil 4. A pretty solid list. But in the end, who can beat crazed villagers with chainsaws trying to chop your head off. Yeah, "Game of the Year" is Resident Evil 4. It's good to see it get the recognition it deserves. It also got "Best Graphics". Hard to believe it beat Call of Duty 2. If you want to see the other awards, click on nominees at SpikeTV.com. It's a beautiful day for Capcom.

Here Comes Santa Claus...
Hey guys, I'm back from the dead and full of Christmas cheer. Since the New Year and the holidays are coming so quickly, I look back and see that not much has been done for the clan. No criticism intended, just saying. Anyway, I've been browsing the web (Yeah, I do.) and have good news for video games. Splinter Cell 4 is on its way and looks quite mysterious. Sam is a convict or double agent, not sure which. You can see more at Ubisoft and IGN. Go to both. More good news. Resident Evil 4 for the PS2 is good, I hear. You can also find a Resident Evil 5 trailer on IGN. I recommend bookmarking (or favoriting, as I call it. Stupid Internet Explorer. Wahhhh!!!) IGN, if you haven't already. Here's defense to my magazine. Game Informer has an interview with HIDEO KOJIMA on METAL GEAR SOLID 4. That's right Ryan, Game Informer. He was quite open about the game as well. On a sadder note, I don't have Resident Evil 4 anymore because I'm letting a friend borrow it.

Thank You!
Thank you for inviting me to the clan, Matt. I will change my display name as soon as possible(which will probably be right now).
