October 31, 2005 - 6:38 PM.

I'm just about to leave the house... Check out what I'm being for H4ll0we3n:

And some other pics to calm teh Halloweenies. These are something like a few months old, but whatever:

This here is me all h4xX0r and stuff.

Here is a jar of cloning peanuts. Ryan and I started this cloning process 3 years ago.

Our bad-ass 1337xX0r web server shown in a great shot with leading n00bt4rd Ryan Johnson.

Have fun tonight, don't get eaten by werewolves or zombies (if you're attacked I'll come by on dirt-riding mean-machine and lay the smackdown). Play the game Stubbs the Zombie, and lose your teeth eating candy. I'll be back.

Silent Hill Movie

In honor of Halloween I'm showing y'all something. Check it out.
This is the movie poster for the Silent Hill movie. Looks sweet doesn't it? I've been reading up on it and the movie looks to be coming together nicely. It's more or less based on the first game. With a few plot and character changes. You should all play Silent Hill, it's awesome. Play it you Halloweenies!

The Codex Series won "Best Screenplay"

'Tis O.K. though, considering that we are not famous and well known yet. Once we are, however, we will win.

The big relief is that SvF didn't win in "Best Screenplay" category. It would have sucked to lose to those n00bz...

I Bought an XBox...

Translation: I gave Bill Gates money. (I'm truly sorry.)

Isn't this post like the 4th post today? I believe that's a record...

Anyways, I bought the box from a friend of mine (who's name is Montana, and I'm not even joking) for something like 50 bucks. I plan to mod my evil baby with a modchip, and I'm feeling that the Xecuter line is the way to go, considering that I've had experience with the Xecuter chip in Jon's box. The awesome Xecuter 3 CE is like the cadillac of all modchips, and so it seems like that would be the right way to go.

Input from you guys would be nice.

October's newsletter will hopefully be out shortly, if I receive a jolt of motivation one of these days...

And I have now stepped into the console gaming scene (which, by the way, I had been trying to avoid forever), so I'll probably end up buying all the other consoles (XBox 360, PS3, Revelation) and every game ever conceived.

Please congratulate moi on making a horrible mistake. (>_<)

all the cool kids are doin it

I think we should put our stuff together and begin raising money for a clan xbox 360 that way after I get mine we can have lans with one of the next gen systems or find out whos getting oneand by xbox 360 Imean the extra controlersand cables needed just a suggesiton for the futer look ahead in an almost drug induced coma towards the future. (all the cool kids are doing it or at least the drug induced coma part.)

Time for a New Post

Washington D.C.

Greetings n00bs. I'm currently in Washington D.C. You're not. Deal with it. The ROP awards have again been delayed. This bothers me to no end. These people have managed to break every deadline they've ever set. I think That Weasel TV is two 9 year olds in their mom's basement. I'll post some pictures of beutiful DC as soon as I get back on Monday.

Work gets Done

I'm spending my half-day tomorrow working at BATV. Gonna get some actual work on Episode 2 done. This is a revolutionary new concept which I'm sure will change the way the world looks at machinema and several other theoretical ideas.
------------------------------------------------------------
Avast, Cool sight off the port bow!

How much coffee will kill you?

I can down 76 cups of the sacred brew.
------------------------------------------------------------
In a totally unrelated issue, the complete ROP awards come out Sunday. I won't be able to see it till Monday, as I'll be in D.C. Hopefully there won't be any terrorist attacks, no fly violations, or Beltway sniping copycats while I'm there. With my luck all three things will happen in combination (and Godzilla will rise out of the Potomac to run amok.) Wish me luck.
------------------------------------------------------------
Last but not least, Jack Thompson has offered to donate $10,000 to Take Two's favorite charity if a game company will design and publish Jack Thompson's self invisioned game.

One Man's Dream

===UPDATE===

Apparently a couple mod squads decided to call Jack's bluff. Several mods have been released in which players can live out Jack's sick fantasy. Well, Jack wasn't expecting this. He said his offer was satireand he wasn't paying. So, the good folks at Penny Arcade decided to donate the $10,000 for him. In his name. So, what's a lunatic to do? Easy, he filed for their arrests as they were "threatening and harrassing" him. Now, y'all know I'm not a big fan of Penny Arcade, but this really was a great thing to do. What's wrong with Jack isn't that he could actually legislate against games (which he can't), but that mainstream media still takes him seriously. As though he were an expert in the field of "Murder Simulators." Therefore if he could pwn the n00b public into believing him, we'd have a whole new pot of 5h17 on our hands.

First BF2 Machinima

This is, to my knowledge, the very first BF2 machinima. Quite well done, if I may say.
Click on the link in the guy's post.

UPDATE:

Credit to Ryan for posting the video above. Another BF2 video that came out on August 15th 2005 is available below:

3V Viators (Link to the download server, not the file. 257.4 MB)

Pretty good stunt video overall. Posted in Fatal1ty.com's forums.

Modded Machinima

I've begun a new Halo Machinima series that as of now has no name, but involves 3 Macs, 1 PC, and my brain.

Only I need some input from you guys. I am using LOTS of modding as you can see below (the HUD is missing), and I'm not sure whether or not to present the videos in widescreen 1.85:1 format (used today in big-production movies) or standard fullscreen.

Check out the pics and please respond:

What do you guys think? Oh, and by the way, if ya'll got any ideas for the storyline and plot, feel free to post about it. (^_^)

ROP Preview

The ROP awards have released another preview. I'm downloading it right now. I can only hope it will be better than their last "preview."

Oh my god... This is rIdIcUlOuS...

This guy drives all the way from LA to NYC.

Now this may not sound like a lot, but what's so aMaZiNg about his voyage was that he recorded the entire trip, from start to finish. Even during night while at motel rest-stop.

Download the journey here: LA-to-NYC (WMP9 format, 6.0MB)

What I ponder over is what the hell he recorded all this footage to... That's either a HUGE hard drive or a hell of a tape.
