Some of my 3D Modeling Work
Since I started the Engineering Academy at Minuteman Regional High School, I've gained quite a bit of knowledge in the areas of advanced 3D modeling and drafting. Using Autodesk Inventor, a powerful $4000 3D modeling program, I've created several very detailed models and renders during my time so far in 3D drafting (my Freshman-year shop class). Currently, I'm working on designing an arbor press machine as well as a detailed floor jack. Below are some of my projects that I have finished. They're in order from earlier models to later models (very recently completed). All parts are working and runnable (as in, wheels roll, and pistons pump accordingly).
As you can see, these are very advanced solid models. Although I've already had much experience with 3D modeling and animation (Halo map-making), I've learned a LOT so far in the Academy and plan to incorporate my learnings from school to personal projects (and Wahttehhog productions). We're talking animating impossible machinima scenes for future series and videos.
If you guys are interested in learning to create advanced 3D models and environments as such in programs like Autodesk Inventor & 3DS Max 8, maybe we could start planning meetings in which I could teach y'all to model & animate. Also, I've got legal 3D softwares for you guys to use at home, but I've also got Inventor Pro 10 if anyone wants it (and is willing to actually spend time to learn it).

Kingdom Hearts II
Despite the loss of Matt's data, we have a glimmer of hope. Kingdom Hearts II came out today. If anyone purchases it, please proceed to call my house and invite me over to play.
Also, Game Stop in Woburn gets 360's on Saturday, and Game Stop in Burlington gets them on Sunday. Hopefully, I'll get my hands on one this weekend.
Matt there wasn't any Episode 2 stuff on that hard drive, was there?

A Very Sad Day Today...
Today, I lost all 120GB of important files and such on my Iomega drive. This loss includes:
- Over 40 fully cracked/patched games that I had dedicatedly worked on and accumulated over the past many years.
- The entire Wahttehhog Episode 1: "Insert Quarter to Purchase Health" Final Cut Pro project files, video, data. The entire edited sequence and reference files are gone. I had dedicated more than 300 hours on editing that first Wahttehhog video.
- Over 20GB of valuable files to me, including many of my own separate projects, as well as a great amount of videos and photos and historical documents of The Wahttehhog. (Including an image of a Google search for "wahttehhog" before we were established.)
What's very sad is that the hard drive was lost to f*cking Microsoft Windows, which (without my consent) reformatted any and all drives in sight.
I really don't think that it's hit me yet that I just lost a great amount of important, irreplaceable data. I don't know what else to say...

Halo Graphic Novel.
The Halo Graphic Novel is going to be a comic of sorts of some Halo stories. Frankie's Weekly Update is where you can read up on it in detail. It's made up of, I think, three stories.
The first story is of a team of Elites on an agricultural ship infested by what appears to be the Flood. The next story mentioned is a test of Mjolnir Mark VI armor by some ODST's. Finally, the next story is the log of Sergeant Johnson's escape from the Flood in the first Halo. I'm looking forward to reading this, and hopefully purchasing it. This brought me to thinking that we should start a Halo fanfiction.
By the way, happy 151 posts.

The Wahttehhog Clan Progression
The clan has really come a long way from the beginning. It all started out as a LAN party during the Christmas break of 2004. If I'm correct, we were just going to play LANs back then. The first episode was really a hit with many people I've talked to. Now this new episode will be really awesome, along with the whole series.
I heard that the first sequence of the episode is done. It sounds awesome to me.
Well, even though I wasn't at the last LAN, I still was indirectly helping the clan. The iMac we found is soon going to be purged of whatever the students need, and we can use it for the server. Matt says that he can work with the Mac easier. Some of us are taking computer programming next year which will be good. Even though it seems like we've been working on this episode for quite a long time, I think that The Wahttehhog has some brighter days ahead.
Here's to the good days:

Matt Spaztard
You all remember the "Ryan Spaztard" image posted on the blog a long time ago (and still under the "Wahttehhog Media" section) that my Mom took when Ryan got pwned at the first LAN at my house during the Christmas of '04.
Well, since one of the Wahttehhog Administrators (Ryan) has been on the hotspot recently with the release of the "Starlog - Historical Documents" recording, I decided that, to be fair, I'd post one of my own Spaz-attacks. My Mom was yet again the person to have captured this peice of the past, and here it is available to 6 billion people around the planet:
By the way, this picture was taken with the new high-res Canon PowerShot SD400 camera. The full resolution is 2592 x 1944 pixels, but the Flickr-hosting service only allows 1024 x 768 uploads.

"Starlog - Historical Documents" (Ryan was on something...)
Ryan and I were at BATV one day and we recorded him saying stuff and stuff. So this is the edited version of basicly this story he just spit out. Of course, you really should hear the uncut version, which includes all his wheezing and snorting, mainly because he was dying of some wasting disease that day. Not to worry, he's fine now.
I might have uploaded the file without a given file extension, so when you download it, it might appear to be a blank file (as in, it'll say to choose a program to open this file with and stuff moby-bir). Just use any music player that plays .aif audio files.

The TLD Decision.
The website was done for many months, but now is under construction again due to motivation struck-up in me while viewing the Halouvre website. I'm re-editing main parts of the Wahttehhog site to have more of a Halo feel to it. That means that we're gonna' have the Chief with his sniper as a background alpha-channel transparent image in teh sidebar.
This got me thinking about what kind of TLD (Top-Level Domain) we're going to have for the final URL address. I was originally going to use the conventional .com TLD, but then I realized that we really aren't selling anything yet, and a .org might be more appropriate. Then I found the whole .net framework, which would tie us into the Halo webring (but then again, we're not just Halo-oriented). Here's the basic differences between the 3 most common TLD's.
So what do you guys think? And I'd really like to know...
.....
Note to Jon: Remember that multi-console S-Video cable we were using to film in high-def at BATV with? Well, if you don't mind, I'd like to borrow the cable so I can shoot some high-res Halo images for the website design.
.....
I'm finally back into the music-making business. After releasing the "CS Tech" song, I decided to pulled out teh 'ol Soundtrack Pro and since then have created some effects and beats for use in the 2nd video. If anyone has got any music or rhythms they want me to check out and possibly incorporate into Compilation 2, send 'em to me at matt2491@gmail.com.

We've got to finish this episode...
This Friday, March 10, my mom will let us finish this thing up in terms of filming. We'd go from 5:00 to 11:00. Even though it seems as though we've been done, it looks like we aren't. Ryan wants a redo of the Montag scene at Foundation. So leave comments, call me, and do anything else to let me know if you can make it. I don't know how good Friday is for you guys. We could do Saturday, but the P.L.F show is on Saturday. Let's finish this up. I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished project.
Matt, for voice acting we could bring whatever equipment we may need. I just want to finish this.

Wahttehhog Newsletter - February 06
I forgot to write February's newsletter. The only change you'll find is the quote at the top left-hand part of the letter. The file below is really only in existence for the record. PDF format:
